Merchant Account Reserve Funds

Merchant account reserve funds are funds that are held back by a payment processor to cover potential costs associated with chargebacks. Merchant reserves may take the form of a fixed amount held by the processor until the account is closed or a rolling reserve that holds back funds from new transactions for a set period of time before releasing them.
